XDSL Uncapped WiFi

Waiting for a site survey that will take place this week, their service up to this point has been very good.

Will post again once everything has been setup.
 
Sorry to bump this, but is their service still good?

We're looking as a complex to install one Antenna in the center of the complex and then distribute the signal to each house (the complex doesn't like antennas on every roof). I'm guessing then that every resident will pay for their uncapped service direct at XDSL. However, i'm a bit worried that too many residents on one connection uncapped will render the service useless - although i am guessing that most will opt for the 384.

I have just applied for the 384K Uncapped for R450pm (Month to Month / Fixed IP / Firewall)
Equipment and installation = R1500

Installation will be done on monday as they just put up a new High Site in my area (Centurion)

The call center actually responds and the sales staff is verry helpfull. The guy dealing with my application has been calling me daily for the past week, keeping me up to date and informing me of the status of my installation.

If the service could be as good as the sales people.......I will just have to wait and see.

do they install heavy radio equipment? like satellites and such?

reason i ask is because im living in a flat
 
No, it's a very small device on the roof and only one utp cable they run to your internal router (device uses POE)

Tomorrow they come for a site survey cant wait. I also aplyed for the applied for the 384K Uncapped for R450pm hoping for the best. Seen just good things have been said sofar about them. I also had good friendly service so far and they can awnser all questions was inpresed. Will report back again.
 
How sad trying to get a wisp here for 4 months. Just not good. Well i will keep trying to get some one who can help.
 
What a pity...I'm like a unit or two out of range and the guys at XDSL aren't prepared to assist.
Anyone know of any other decent uncapped WISPs in the PTA East area?
 
I have been in contact with xDSL today. My home is covered and according to the graphs send to me I am in full sight of the tower.

I need to test it. How is the pings these days?
