Returning it to Axiz is conditional on PC Zone refusing it or going under (wish they did) neither of which is the case here.

PC Zone is supposed to cover it for 2 years if the manufacturer has a 2 year warranty in SA!

Listen, I'm not going to argue with you about this, you obviously know better. I stand by my story, I'm not lying or making this schit up for dramatic effect.

I did contact Samsung and they will not touch it either, they don't interfere with their distributor & reseller policies either. Samsung also contacted the parties involved but nobody is budging. So unless I pay R150 (which I won't) to PC Zone because I can't find the invoice the drive is not getting replaced. In case you are wondering I have spoken to several different people at the different companies and not just one idiot in the store room.

Call Axiz in DBN 031 569 8800, tell them you have a Samsung HDD you purchased from PC Zone and ask if they will take it in for warranty claims. If need be I will give you my drives serial# and lets see how far you get

No. I'm not prepared to pay R150 for them to print an invoice for something that is worth R600 in order to accept it.

Weird, I phoned some other branches for the distributor and they will take it.
