The Mi A2 September update was out 2 weeks back. I wonder why there is anotherSeptember Update is out. (360.2 MB)
Pity its not Pie, but I wonder how long we gonna wait to get Pie?

I also thought that. But I too had the update.Guess Mi A2 Lite on different release schedule? Cause I know the Lite normally comes out last 10 days of the month.
Were the updates that bad? What kind of bugs?As an owner of a Mi A1 64GB, I just can't find enough justification to buy a Mi A2 at a much higher price than I paid for my A1. I am not ready to lose the headphone jack and the Snapdragon 625 is plenty fast enough for my non-gaming lifestyle.
I'll rather be ordering a Global Mi Max 3 rather which will offer me much more to enjoy for similiar A2 pricing. Having experienced a below stellar Android One experience (slow and buggy updates by Xiaomi), I'm keen to go back to the little extra's which Miui offers...
The current Gearbest flash sale improves the pricing a bit, but it is still $60-$70 more than I paid for my Mi A1 earlier this year (yes, you get a free Mi Band, but I am excluding that $ value out of the equation for apples and apples)
For years I wanted a Vanilla Android experience. Living with the Mi A1 was cool in the beginning, with monthly updates, but I always missed the little add-ons which I had on Samsung and then Miui, before the Mi A2.
I have been back on Miui on my Mi Max 3 for a month now and I am now in my happy place. I missed the built in call recorder the most - Miui's is excellent and I need this for work.
I'm glad I tried Vanilla Android, but I've ticked that off my bucket list...
couldn't just get an app for that?
