I use ad blocker on TTV, works like a charm. I am always on YouTube with Blokada on, I never saw ads on YouTube either

Pihole works well for normal adds, but it doesnt block Youtube adds.

It does block YouTube ads, I wouldn’t have mentioned it if it didn’t.

Keeping that in mind it’s not bulletproof but Iv cut my ads in videos down to nearly 0 and mostly now just get the odd one here and there at the start of the video.

Did you do anything to make it block the Ads specifically? I have one and unfortunately its never blocked youtube ads for me (everything else is blocked).

I always thought it was a lost cause because of the way that the ads are served up.

Seems its a hit and miss and Google is continuously updating the way it serves the ads.

I didnt do anything special, i just kept everything checked off except (online only) and (start on boot). Check youtube for setting. I have it on my Android TV, I have never seen a YouTube add in a long time. As for TTV I can vouch that it does work

Anybody on here still on Marshmallow and experiencing YouTube freezing? Seems to be a regular thing. Netflix works perfect on Marshmallow but YouTube freezes from time to time, requiring you to force stop the app.

Id say run the updates. They released a big one, then a small one shortly thereafter that fixed the issues.
