Nah, still on 2174.

I did manage to get VUDU working, though. lol
Specifically with the 4.1.50 VUDU update. I checked and all my old HDX titles are playing fine.
Previously the app would just give me a blue screen.

You know you can return hassle free right? That is their policy. I bought an item and few days later it went on sale for R500 cheaper. I ordered a new one and logged a return before the initial order was even delivered

Re the Sony Crackle app on the Mi Box.
Specifically the ad-free Crackle 5.0.0.58 apk.

Whenever I view any content, I can't get the remote to work if I want to rewind or to skip ahead during the vids.
Everything else works great, pause/play works fine, and of course in this version there are no annoying ads to have to put up with.

Has anyone else tried this particular apk? Any way of getting around the rewind-fast forward issue on the Mi Box?

I can only offer 2 apps
Mobdro and Ckay TV

But have similar content, mobdro has a more realiable but the picture quality is 360p while Ckay TV has 480p to 720p but the streams are not always reliable.
 
Is DSTV now catch up working out for you guys? I tried two shows on there so far, one gives video playback error with 404 and 500 codes and the other buffers every 2 minutes. On decoder no issues even when streaming it with downloading in the background

Catch up works fine. Been watching 'The Good Fight' without a problem. Good quality too.
 
I noticed this morning that when connected to my phone's Wi-Fi hotspot DSTV streaming is dimmed, but it is fine when connected to the LTE router. What gives?

I have the same issue with streaming on catchup. Live DStv is fine. My side it's buffering. But internet speed is fine with 18-19 Mbps down speeds.

Thats just their servers shitting their pants like usual.

404 means not found, and 500 is an internal server error.
