Xiaomi Note 3 now R1899

Under WeChat Wallet, my order status is "successful". Nothing shows on Incredible's website. Ordered two days ago...

Is there another way to track other than using IC website?

on IC website it just says: "The Parcel is Pre-Inducted onto the Manifest"

Now there are Port Elizabeth tracking log entries. I am going to lose my sh#t now. FAAARK! I bet those retards sent it to PE by mistake

CONFIRMED - sitting in PE :(

Local depot offered to send a truck with the parcel from PE to EL today - I thanked them but could not expect them to go through that expense. They then said there is a cargo plane this evening and I can fetch tomorrow - I took this option so I can at least play with it from tomorrow.

Okay, so I'd like to get the latest developer updated to MIUI. The weekly OTA updates on Cyanogenmod used to entertaining.

So I looked at the MIUI site and want to make sure if I'm on the right place here:

Its the Qualcom global version, right?

Something else, I see the latest Stable is version 8.0.1.0 but the latest Developer version is 6.9.22. Whats up with that? Different versioning?

Mine still sitting on: "Received Paid" from the 22 Sept.

When I call this morning I got the standard " our system is down" story and "we will call you back" story

Never got I call back yesterday or a response to my email.
Called them again this morning and they told me it will be delivered in 5 to 6 days.

I wonder if anyone from IC picked up this thread yet.

I mean we expected them to have stock issues but an ETA would be helpful

I finally got mine. Does any one know how to put MIUI 8 developer on these phones?

I was promised a call back from Incredible... they never called of course :D

Needed this as a temp phone fairly urgently... didn't think it would take two weeks to deliver when Takealot is able to deliver things to my door in 3 days max!

Mine got delivered but it was purchased for a friend have to give it to him cos he paid for it, wish it was mine now cos of price and dual sim (with an afrihost R1 deal is awesomeness).

Hoping it happens again.

HUGE THANKS TO THE OP.

While I patiently wait for my Note 3 to get to the correct town, can someone answer this please:

If you have 2 sims in the phone, and you open the dialer, is there a quick way to choose over which sim to place a call? I have seen on the Huawei's that there are 2 on screen dial buttons at the bottom for sim 1 or sim 2 and you just tap the sim-dial-button that you want to use for the outgoing call.

Tnx

You still have 2 buttons. Last used sim automatically dials after 5 to 10 seconds. On MIUI you can set a permanent dialling sim.

Has anyone tried updating theirs? I've heard some complaints about Redmi Note 3s being stuck on Bootloop after a restart post-update

Got mine by 2, this afternoon (JHB to worcester...impressed). Did the update, it got stuck on boot up screen, even after the bar was full (guess that was the install running on the bar). After a while I pressed the power button and it restarted and booted normally.

Have you tried restarting it since?
