Xiaomi Note 3 now R1899

Do yourself a favour and buy your covers and screens off ebay or aliexpress now so it gets to you soon. There's little to nothing in SA /Bidorbuy/Takealot/Raru/Loot or China Mall
 
Pity the takealot one didn't come with a cover. But my wife turned her old redmi note 2 into one that fits

What kind of things cause it to lag? That battery life sounds crazy good.
 
Ordered this of Aliexpress. It's at Durmail atm. Sandstone feel a la OnePlus One. Lots of guys recommended for the Kate

sigh. will give them a few more days - but if really no concrete feedback form geekbuying then paypal complaint it is. major reason i opted for Paypal payment is to have this option.
ah well - so we learn.

Suspect they getting rid of old stock before the Note 4's officially land in SA.

Personally I can not wait for this cause some moron bought the wrong screen covers and not gonna import one on its own.
 
They are definitely clearing stock but that's fine the note3 still has enough clout

crap, aren't the custom roms designed mainly for Kenzo? my only real reason to buy it is for the battery and stock android.

Not sure - I have found MIUI to be close enough to stock to be fine, definitely doesn't feel bloated

Random things... Like occasionally if you start typing it takes about half a second before characters appear.

I just remembered I switched to the Google Now launcher, which might also be the problem.
