Hey peeeps, is it still possible to buy a XP legal cd key?

What cd key you want?
Home edition or Professional?

XP is still on sale - you'll need to either go to a shop or chat to a reseller who has an account with a dealer to get an OEM CD

Can still do it through Microsoft - via their website, or call MS SA... or just buy a retail XP in the shops/supplier.

Well, when purchasing a legal copy of Windows XP you'll receive a legal Windows XP key...

Why?

Starting work next year, and they still havent converted to VISTA!!

+ notebooks come with VISTA HOME PREMIUM which is useless + you cant upgrade 2 ultimate, have to buy both(Which really sucks)

Ive got XP cd, just need the key !

Prob have to buy it XP and after 3 weeks buy VISTA

When the Microsoft conference was held at the Hilton hotel in Durbz last year I approached Tracy from Microsoft with the following question/
"Say I had a copied CD at home - and no original CD to show for my Microsoft product,BUT I have a original product key - what would the consequences be for me,"
She replied - you can basically order the CD for free from Microsoft, as long as you can prove you have a original product key - we do not moan about a backup of your CD, as long as you do not use a pirated key you should be fine.

Soo from what I gather there is that I am paying +-600 odd rand for a piece of paper... lol

I do have a XP Home product key that I can sell to anyone...
