XP software to run on Win & Pro

Hi Guys

How do i run xp software on a Win 7 OS? It is rom flasher for an old HTC Touch Dual Phone. What do i need and how?

Just install it normally - if you have problems select properties of the icon/compatability & select xp....failing that working if you have w7 pro or above download virtual "Windows XP mode" - is free for pro & above

But it may not work on all programs, especially if those programs require older drivers or hardware interfaces.
