Xperia X1

I saw an advert for the X1 in yesterday's Business Report. So it shouldn't be long before its available here.

Ah I saw some advertising while walking through Frankfurt International Airport.
My heart sunk :o
How I wish..., but soon my precious....soon :D

Sony Xperia is available December at MTN for R459 on Anytime 350. No pay-in.
Well the pay in is factored into the monthly contract. Anytime 350 would normally cost R350 wouldn't it? So in affect there is a R109 x 24 pay in on the Experia= R2616

its available on vodacom contracts. pay in of R5300 odd on a top up 315 contract ....

That's a heavy price tag, but was to be expected, but are the handsets readily available at outlets?

I'm hoping to get one if I come back to Malta in January.
I saw in the local paper here in Malta today that the iPhone 3G has only been launched locally by Vodafone.

Wonder what Kinda crack pipe they smoking?

The fumes of that crackpipe disseminates into the populus and has some of us freaks buying into it :p

I hope not to do it here, the crack in Europe should be cheaper and of a better quality  :p ;) :D

How annoying, vodacom and mtn have it, yet iTalk saying they only getting it mid december, might just have to change my provider, impatient I are

Anyone got a link for that?
Can't seem to find it on mtnsp's site.

Not sure if it's from the same source but it's in their Yello magazine on the mtnsp site. I think the left is on the right hand side of the page. Not sure if it mentions the release date though.

Just a thought that occured to me now, but there seems to be no mention if you get any GPS for life - like with the Omnia and its Garmin Maps I mean.
