Xperia Z - Cellc Contract?

Wow... they told me last week they are getting Wednesday, then Wednesday they said later that week then this week it was back to them not knowing again....

I know I'm a thread Necro here...But I'm asking similar question.

I signed up for a Xperia Z CellC Top up 100 Contract last week. And the sales person said she cannot confirm when the phone will be in stock.

This week I dropped by CellC again and they said there is a stock delivery problem for them (Bayside CellC Branch) and she said they don't usually stock new phones in store.

So I went to Vodacom the same day and ask if they have any Xperia Z available and immediately they went to the back and took out one...

So what I wanted to know is, is there a Xperia Z stock problem in Cape Town or is it just for CellC?

It's a national problem, they don't know when they will have stock. When I asked Sony directly, they said they did not know when CellC would have stock, but could tell me both MTN and Voda have stock.

Thanks for letting me know...should have found this out before signing up for a contract. Now I have to wait for a month or longer for the phone.
