Pleasure

I have to ask how old are the Kids, they should really know this stuff - :sneaky:
Yip I guess youre right. 15yrs old is the oldest. BUT I have to give him grace, he is a gamer and we dont really watch TV. But he is now getting very involved in sports and wants to watch Supersport. Knows nothing about DSTV and also much easier for Mom to find out...lol

So a work colleague is telling me that the resolution on DSTV Now is bad on a bigger screen. Is that true? Anything I can do?

I only really notice the degraded resolution with the big live events or if someone is hogging the line/downloading something big on the 2MB ADSL line I am using.

But yea, people were complaining quite a bit that the rugby match of Sunday was low(er) quality over DSTV Now. As per DSTV it is a common problem worldwide with these big live events - while the rest of the world has been streaming live fullhd events, with much bigger audiences, without a problem. Obvious passing of the buck. But I do not know the technical details of what is (or is not) going on there.

Not much you can go about this. Make sure your line is not being hogged while trying to stream something important?

Like @ld13 it depends - the formula 1 was excellent but the rugby was crap

Hi...I have two DSTV HD decoders and wants to connect it to extra view. I have a twin LNB with a diplexer but still no signal. What might be wrong?

just connect the heartbeat directly, and you did say 2 HD decoders not PVR's
And f you got an installer he should have done this for you correctly in the first place :cautious:
I'm gonna try with the smartLNB

Okay...thank you. I'll try that.
you need to run a cable between the 2 decoders RF ports that is the heartbeat.
you can't skip this if you are using a twin LNB.
the smart LNB won't help as IIRC it will only work as a heart beat if you have a explora 2 or 3 decoder

See the decoders doesn't have a RF port. Only a LNB port in but no other ports.
