Yengeni arrested for drunk driving

I just hope that nobody filmed the event on a cell phone! If it were introduced as evidence he would be out for the next 10 years.

WTF diff does it make whether you're high on mampoer or Medinite, should still not be driving then.
If I'm intoxicated and drive like a drunk person, and cause an accident, the cops aren't gonna say... oh okay, it was meds, not alcohol, so then all is fine.
Alcohol is alcohol, in whiskey or in coughsyrup, if he's not supposed to have any and drive then ....
And the R500 bail! They're obviously not serious about applying the law to him, same as to the rest of us.
 
He was held for four hours before his blood was taken. Not good. Probably get off on a technicality because of that.

Didnt say that. He was taken for blood tests and then held for 4 hours, std procedure for DUI's as it gives them time to sober up and make friends with Babba.
 
Yengeni was taken in for blood tests. He waited in a cell for about four hours, until after midnight, for a doctor to give him a blood test. His wife, Lumka, was contacted and paid his R500 bail. He did not ask for a lawyer.

Typical of the bungling that lets these morons run free all the time...

Then again, if he HAS alcohol in his system i'm pretty sure that breaks the terms of his parole?
 
Throw the bum back in jail and throw away the key...

We need that three strikes law in this country.... life without parole kinda thing for repeat offenders like him

Holy crap! Did you see that Merc he was driving on TV news the other night. One of these giant sedans - a R1.5 million job. Not the Merc 4x4 he was charged with receiving an illegal discount for.
Where the hell did he get the lolly for that one? I hope the tax man was watching. Not to mention the Scorpions.

Get broom... brush under carpet... put carpet down [repeat] He didnt serve his jail sentence, he didnt pitch up for community service, he is allways at places where drinks are served, and now caught drunk behind the wheel.

What makes you think THIS will change anything!
