Yet another "I met a Girl" thread!!! :P

Hey y'all!

I went to a company for a business purpose and I talked to some people over there. One of them was a girl which (within our brief discussion) I fell in love with and am eating ice cream and cry all night long while thinking about her!

Now I'm not sure about the social protocol here! Is it too awkward asking for her number in the office where all her co workers are sitting next to us? Another thing i'm concerned about is the awkward visits to the company after i ask her out and she says no!
I'm aware of "don't poop where you eat" cliche but the thing is I liked her pretty much and she was super nice which I like to think means that she wouldn't mind me asking her out!
Now troll away my dear forumites, throwing some ideas and advice in between also is acceptable!

ummmm. As long as you are sure her being nice is not simply her personality in the workplace.

Just don't overcomplicate things. Just find a sneaky moment to ask her if she would like to grab a coffee/drink/lunch outside of work. If she says yes, then you ask for her number, if she says no, then you simply go on about your business.

You dont fall in love like that, you either fall in lust or you like the person. Love develops its not an instant thing.

You should ask her to make make coffee with you. If she accepts then you know she is keen and you can get to know her a little better. Do this a couple of times and then ask for her number in the kitchen.

Heh not as much as you would think, but I have learned, that most of the time the problem is the guy tanking and not making a move. If you did make an error in judgement, she will let you know pretty quick, and for that you just learn how to deal with it gracefully and go on.
