I went to a company for a business purpose and I talked to some people over there. One of them was a girl which (within our brief discussion) I fell in love with and am eating ice cream and cry all night long while thinking about her! :D

Now I'm not sure about the social protocol here! Is it too awkward asking for her number in the office where all her co workers are sitting next to us? Another thing i'm concerned about is the awkward visits to the company after i ask her out and she says no!
I'm aware of "don't poop where you eat" cliche but the thing is I liked her pretty much and she was super nice which I like to think means that she wouldn't mind me asking her out!
Now troll away my dear forumites, throwing some ideas and advice in between also is acceptable! :D

Was in a similar situation once. I "manned up" (hate that term) and asked to speak to her privately, she agreed, we walked out of earshot and I asked her out.





















It failed spectacularly, what ensued was one of the worst rejections of my life. :p

But don't let that stop you :D

What Nicci is saying is that you should ask her out in front of her colleagues.

Either she will fall head over heels for you because of the sheer massive balls you have, or she will attack you with a letter opener for embarrassing her in front of her colleagues.
