Oh my gawd. Lets go over this step by step very carefully. You seem to be being deliberate obtrusive but I will give you the benefit of the doubt... and assume there has being a genuine communication error somewhere along the line. Im totally willing to accept that it was me that misunderstood something in all of this which is very possible.
Remember this subject is about Russians who oppose the Kremlins being killed off in dramatic numbers. So lets start with your quote which is:
I tend towards that view. The West is just as scumbaggy except that because of their ideology, they are more adept at concealing scumbaggery. With all the propaganda, misdirection, etc. about covert operations, you would never discern any truth anywhere anyway. My view is to privilege human rights – that (at least) is transparent.
Basically in that phrase on the subject of the Kremlin opposer's being killed, you say the white house are similar except in ideology. The White House are no angels and have their share of dirty works, but I dont recall dozens of American humanitarian aid workers and american journalists being killed because of their anti-white house political views. So I dont understand how you can compare the two so I ask:
Could you give me a list of American journalists and humanitarian aid workers the American government has killed in the last 10 years for opposing the white house?
I can give you a dozen that have mysteriously died in Russia in the last couple of months.
I just want to make sure we are being reasonable in this discussion and not comparing apples with rotten potatoes.
In this question I want you to show me how the White House is the same as the Kremlin in killing off American journalists and aid workers. If they are the same then there should be a similar amount of American aid workers, journalists and politicians being killed off. Since I dont believe they are the same and am a natural skeptic I ask you in the above quote to show me the names or reports of the americans you seem to believe the white house is killing off. Im not stuck on my opinion and with the right evidence will change it, so before I can accept your line. I need evidence of dozens of aid workers and journalists being killed.
I then offer to do research for you and bring up dozens of Russian journalists, aid workers and politicians that have been killed over the last couple of months.. all whom appose the Kremlin. I am willing to back up my opinion with the information I have at hand.
To which you reply:
You are getting involved in semantic nit-pickery.
Which is basically a cop out of your earlier opinion which you then redefine... by saying:
The American style is not to shoot critics (they do not have the control of the population that Russia has). The IRS would investigate the victim for income tax evasion. Local schools would ‘mysteriously’ be unable to accommodate children. ‘Errors’ would occur on bank statements and utility bills. Electricity and water would be ‘mysteriously’ cut (with apologies).
So Americans dont kill off journalists and aid workers that oppose the White House.. so your comment by saying that Americans and Russians confirms my opinion that you were comparing apples with rotten potatoes. You do however indicate that Americans harass people by.. "shutting off their water. One wonders how Michael Moore was ever able to bath under GW`s regime.
In the above statement you bring children and schools into the conversation of opposing the white house. Hence my question (did you not notice the question mark? as I was trying to clarify what you were trying to say):
Nope, we getting involved in the facts. Schools were a threat to the White House?
Since you seem to think the American government goes after kids in school I wanted clarity on this statement as I now was completely 100% lost at how on earth you get from a journalist getting killed, to kids and school.
To which you reply:
At this point I did a /facepalm
How? America supports Georgia. Georgia shells S. Ossetia and kills those who object to Georgia’s weasel president. America still supports Georgia and whines about the temerity of those wishing to be loose of Georgia’s grip. Kill them! That’ll larn them.
I cant take comments like this seriously at all. So I dont know how to respond to this really interesting point of view. I dont approve of how either Russia or Georgia handled the situation.. the people in that area suffered for a government penis comparison.
I dont understand your train of thought, logic or reason in your discussion or how you use the balance of evidence... I guess we have different methods of reason or something?
Please help clarify your thought processes for me so I have can get an inkle of the reasoning that lead to your opinions. Calling it "nit picking" is a cop out. Im a skeptic.. we`re well known to follow the finer details to understand the bigger picture and by avoiding to answer those finer details we can not build the same bigger picture you have created.
