[Yet Another] Roku 3 + Netflix Problem Thread

Let me try the VPN now - sorry, I missed it earlier.

Gents, if any of you are in JHB North, I would like to buy you all at least 1 beer.

Thank you for your patience and answers. I have managed to fix it with your help. The steps that I have (should have done from teh start) are (for those with the same issue):

1. When you get the Roku don't put it on.
2. Get UnoTelly - or sign in. Sign up for their Uno VPN service (it's a free 3 day trial.) Connect to VPN.
3. Make sure your router has the Unotelly DNS server values set up manually. Turn off auto DNS on your router.
4. Go to Roku.com and create a new acc. I used an address I googled in teh states, and my FNB CC (Nedbank wouldn't work)
5. Put the Roku on, and let it update firmware.
6. Link the Roku.
7. Get all channels.
8. Disconnect VPN.

Thank you all. It is much appreciated.

Nice, glad you came right. The Roku is a rad little device, you should definitely look into Plex if you're not already using it.

Awesome stuff. Glad you came right. Be sure to help out the next dude wanting to give Monochoice the finger. That's all the thanks I need.
