1) The latency problems started way before the patch hit.

2) The voice servers are not on the same game servers, thus there shouldn't be any extra bandwidth load on the game servers.

Who is your ISP? The fact that you are disconnecting locally does not sound too good. There could be a fault on your line.

? vent runs a like a 3rd party program on your comp,the voice servers run through the game dont they?:confused:
 
my latency issue began just be4 they released black temple
infact i noticed my MS was stable at 800ms this weekend, which is more than i can say for past few months
 
Also had high latency last night 750ms, it was around 500ms in the afternoon but picked up towards the evening, was down to 450ms again this morning though.

The fact that you activate it through the game client does not change the fact that the actual voice servers reside on their own servers which are separate from the realm you are playing on.

If you were not getting worse latency when using 3rd party software like Vent or Teamspeak before, the addition of the voice service in-game should not affect you.
 
Latency has been stable but has increased to around 800 - 900's. Not great but at least no timeouts or freezes (3G)

ADSL (WA unshaped on a 384k line) sits at around 600 during peak times and drops to sub 500 after 11pm.
 
I had 450ms for about 30min then went up to 550 for about 2 hours
after that had 750 for about a hour then back to 450 strange i am on mtn hsdpa e220 modem and not one dc but i live next to a mtn tower.
 
you guys are lucky my latency during the day spikes up to 2000 and at night between 800-1100
ADSL 4mb Line saix 3gb Normal Account

on the unshapped axxess account I get the same ****ty latency during the day and about 700ms at night. Its absolutely pathetic
 
Latency

I have a 4mbps ADSL unshaped account with Imaginet and live about 200 metres from the Exchange. I play on the European server and have been getting latency of around 650-800 most of the time it was always on 350-550 so somewhere SAIX has screwed something up.

But its getting ridicoulus now Freeeek I was playing last night and my latency was between 650-800 which is crazy. Something needs to be done
 
Was a good weekend for latency had 450-700 on mtn hsdpa.:D
