Your help wanted

The Lenovo is quite nice. Which Dell Vostro?
Send me an email if you like ... if you give me local models, I can quote you then :P ... (Am I being a better salesman now ;) )

You can do better :p

Not sure... It's apparently very similar to the first one I mentioned, just not as rugged and better looking, I was told...

In all honesty, I still rate the HP at 8999 :p (Back to bad salesman again :p)

You to to IC yet, Ava? Was there yesterday - man there are some nice looking lappies out there nowadays

Went through yesterday after work. If we're looking at pure looks in the price range mentioned, I have to say that the HP Pavilion dv6-1125EI (I can type it without having to go back and check now ;)) wins hands down. There are others that looked cool, but that were way out of the price range. If we're talking specs... I'll admit I didn't read anything about them and was just looking at the one I liked the look and feel of.

On the plus side, I'd probably trust you to give me your honest opinion in the future when looking to buy something from you :)
(Waaaiiiiit a minute. Is that your strategy?! Well played. :D)

Dell Vostros are quite competitively priced with good features.

Do the research and post a link, please :)
(I was actually not kidding about how swamped I am at the moment, which limits time to surf the net and sift through everything. Help appreciated. :))

Out of all the suggestions so far, the 1125ei has the best specs as well...

Just giving people the opportunity to try to change my mind ;)

It has a built in mirror for when I get out the lipstick. It was made for me. :p

AvatarS is a lawyer - you'll have to excuse her cynicism of honesty...
