What is your preferred video playback speed?

I'm between 100% and 125%; some times Frame by Frame.

Loadsheding has me watching series / movies at about 140% quite often (150 is a bit fast with some weird actors)

Because if you play it 5x speed, it will feel like you last longer. Amateur.
5X? I don't think my arm can move that fast.

Depends on how fast the people talk.

For music/movies 1x.
For most podcasts 1.25-1.5x.
For non-native English-speaking podcasts and tech help 1.75x

It depends. Listening speed is similar to reading speed in that the more familiar you are with the content, the more rapid your comprehension.

For subjects I’m familiar with, 2x. Most other things I can do 1.5x

Audible fiction I do maybe 1.25x to leave space for my imagination.

There’s probably also a correlation between listening speed and frame rate sensitivity. Console gamers who can’t see more than 60fps probably can’t go much faster than 1.5x max, while a PC gamer who can enjoy 165hz and up probably takes in information fast enough to listen at 2x speed.

*console gamers in general can't see more than 60 fps.
