Your retirement plans

If SA doesn't collapse, beach house with all seating facing away from ocean view so that it doesn’t distract me.

If SA does devolve to a dictatorship, I'm looking for a senior position in the ANC so I can at least be an oppressor instead of an oppressee.

Was thinking of buying another property. But this is SA... In 10 years time there's a squatter camp next to you, or a land claim or ... WTF. So thinking of keeping my current house as a base station, then "investing" in a caravan or some portable home and visit all the pretty places we have left. "Cheap" seaside view including water and lights for a month. Like it, stay longer or move to another location.

Might need to do a stint in jail for corruption first

Turning 40 next year and my youngest is in matric. Reckon I have another 5 years of varsity commitments for the 2 kids, after which they should be leaving the house and the wife and I can move into a smaller place in the same geographic area on the East Rand of Johannesburg.

Hoping to retire before 55 with enough to sustain current lifestyle and still get to travel a bit.
 
Try to spot shares that would boom nicely!

Missed the boat on Sasol. Missed the boat on MNMD!
