Your temu orders

Fastway were the quickest with my latest order.
Ordered 21 Aug and they wanted to deliver yesterday already!
Last two orders I’ve had a 4-5 day window with no updates.

Then on my last delivery, and despite me writing my suburb name on every single line of the delivery address, they claim they didn’t know they’d gone to the wrong suburb and made us wait another 24 hours before they would deliver it.

Has anyone done the Temu hattrick promo thing? How many referrals did it take? I'm on 99.95% - trying to figure out how many more referrals I'm going to need to get the last 0.05%

That's just the fastway way

I just placed an order now and got this new warning.
Is that going to be over and above the 20% they normally charge?
"South African customs may impose taxes and duties on your order. Starting September 1, 2024, an additional 15% VAT will be added to orders under 500 ZAR. Please pay your taxes once you receive a notification or email with the payment link."

Isnt an extra 15% a maximum value of R75 though, under R500, which technically isnt that bad considering how much cheaper stuff is on Temu.
Still dont support it, but yeah..

I don't know, well they say additional 15% vat but additional to what, the flat 20% duty rate that the media says has been levied thus far on all these smaller imports?

If that is the case the total "duty" will end up at 38%, which would add quite a whack onto the cost.

So just up one's minimum order to R500?

I thought it was for clothing only, now I believe it's for everything. Sometimes I go below the R500 mark, sometimes over.. with this...sucks when you don't need to spend that much
