How would they track my ID on the system? My ID isn't anywhere thereThey track your ID number on the system
Use your wife's ID if you have to
Didnt Buffalo Logistcs ask you? They did with me each time on international ordersHow would they track my ID on the system? My ID isn't anywhere there
Nope not at allDidnt Buffalo Logistcs ask you? They did with me each time on international orders
Nice, maybe there is someone new there that is clueless how this works. Or Temu is decalring it on their behalf, which I think is the case here compared to when I was ordering from banggood.com back in the dayNope not at all
I think that worked differently, as did you pay the VAT and customs fees for the product?Nice, maybe there is someone new there that is clueless how this works. Or Temu is decalring it on their behalf, which I think is the case here compared to when I was ordering from banggood.com back in the day
I received one from them yesterday. Not a bad courier company IMO.
My first interaction with them and so far not a problem:

which takes me to https://postoffices.mobi/address on the phone and https://www.postoffice.co.za/ on the desktop.Your package arrived at the warehouse but could not be delivered due to incomplete address information. Please confirm your address in the link https://bit.ly/....

Correct, always had to pay 15% VAT and a tiny customs fee, wasn't muchI think that worked differently, as did you pay the VAT and customs fees for the product?
That's not Temu, that's BuffaloNot impressed with Temu so far.
Placed an order on the 8th, shipped out on the 12th, arrived in ZA on the 13th, cleared customs on the 14th, and last tracking update was on the 25th - 'Misroute'.
They don't answer the website's Chat nor emails![]()
Strange, not even sure why SARS went after you anyway? As you paid the VAT and the customsCorrect, always had to pay 15% VAT and a tiny customs fee, wasn't much
That looks like the phishing attempts I see in my spam folder. Especially since it's trying to take you to postoffices.mobi while the actual website is postoffice.co.za, no S at the end.I received one from them yesterday.
Then the same one today at 9:12am.
Then at 9:13am I have received another SMS.
which takes me to https://postoffices.mobi/address on the phone and https://www.postoffice.co.za/ on the desktop.
While https://www.postoffice.co.za/ has just the landing page, postoffices.mobi/address on the smartphone has
a different page.

with a form for my Name, Surname, Phone Number, Email, Address etc.
I am note sure if this a a phishing attempt or legit. Received it seconds after the Buffalo/DPD sms. I do have an Aliexpress package on the way, last tracking arrived at departure transport hub 2024-03-23. I see that there was another sms on Monday from http://is.gd which takes me to postoffices-co.xyz which is a obvious phishing attempt.
Not sure about the latest one.
And now an email from ram-sup (RAM couriers) requiring Customs duties for Shipment (declared value R16.13) which looks like an obvious phishing attempt.
SARS is strict on importing for personal use. When you start ordering more than 3 times a year from overseas you need an importers code. It's a once off thing you do, once you have it you have it for life. They did send me all the forms to complete but I never completed them. I rather just ignored it and stopped buying from overseas. Wife is happy now coz we have more money each month for other kak we don't need, but she says we do need itStrange, not even sure why SARS went after you anyway? As you paid the VAT and the customs
So I got an update that they missed a delivery and sending the package back. But I have a doorbell camera and no one tried to deliver anything. Think these local couriers taking a chance if it's too far. Does anyone have a Temu or Buffalo contact? Tried on their website and no responseBuffalo has started to use third party courier companies. Looks like volumes have become massive!
Hmm that is rather silly that you need an importers code for more than 3 times, that's rather low. I could imagine if it was 3 times a week.SARS is strict on importing for personal use. Agree, I was ordering like 20 times a year for small stuff, R100 average each time.Hmm that is rather silly that you need an importers code for more than 3 times, that's rather low. I could imagine if it was 3 times a week.
Yeah, not sure how SARs will do it with Temu as there isn't any ID to trackAgree, I was ordering like 20 times a year for small stuff, R100 average each time.
I see the R20k limit is now R50k

How to get your importers code from SARS and save thousands on tech purchases

Jip age old excuse I complained here about too.So I got an update that they missed a delivery and sending the package back. But I have a doorbell camera and no one tried to deliver anything. Think these local couriers taking a chance if it's too far
After 3 failed delivery attempts via Speed Services Couriers, I drove to their warehouse close to Emperors. A cadre was not stealing my GameCube. Not that one.Was lucky that SAPO did not steal my stuff, the Gamecube got close to being "lost"
