The camera's are decent, indoors at night with the light on, and outdoors daytime. The R160 camera does not work well in the dark, the R200 is good. The frame rate was smooth and clearer than my current FHD.
The Yi IOT software leaves much to be desired. Downloaded from playstore and not the app website. App is pushing cloud storage. Upon installation Yi IOT app and setting up the camera it comes to a screen asking for payment options that you cannot make go away. Exiting the app helped on both occasions.
App needed location as well for setup. And storage permissions - access to photos, media and files - and would not run if you disabled. Tip for location - perhaps take the device away from home, setup your pocket router (or phone as an hotspot) with the same credentials as the home, and then setup the device - this way China does not know the location you are using the device.
I think for the camera's I will have to out them on a vlan. No ethernet option. At R160 & R200 worthwhile and I may get more, but I do feel insecure having it on my phone. Not sure if they are onvif compliant. Would like to see if I can get a rstp stream out of them. Ideally block their internet access in total but allow a local stream that I can setup to access externally securely.
Clothing items - variable, material really thin.
