Your temu orders

I got one knowing it would be crap, it is a better than expected, not magnifying much at all but does allow one to focus better- I could read a box label on a shelf from 20m across the warehouse for R45.
Did yours come with a clip to the phone? Mine didn't

bought one 18650 2200mAh battery as a test for R51
Was rubbish, did load test and capacity is only 1230mAh
Still not sure how they manage to ship them by air...

Just got a dud delivered.

I looked at the most popular item being sold and saw something with 97K sales, many from SA

Just to say. It is utter crap. -10 out of 10. It hardly magnifies and picture quality sucks. Be warned.

It's not the R42 that's the red flag it's the 4.4 stars.

In Temu land 4.4 is like a 0.5 star rating in the real world.

My impression is anything under 4.7 stars is utter shlte.

got this battery camera today. Uses Tuya Smart app, which suits me fine as I already have various Tuya switches and an alarm system. Does not seem to have rtsp/onvif, or I just don't know how to check it

Thanks for the tuya confirmation. I was worried the manual was incorrect.

If you're desperate for the RTSP stream you can download software called camlytics. It will scan your network for IPCams. Even if it doesnt automatically pick it up you can manually add it by inputting the IP address and camera make. It will then spit out possible urls. At least it did with my sonoff camera.

No surprise I guess, the price per Wh is going to be basically fixed on a commodity like this.

Don't know why they are so keen to lie though. It's not like R51 for 1200 mAh is a complete ripoff but being lied to just means you can't trust anything and so don't buy anything.

I liked how Fasttech used to actually test their suppliers' ratings and if false they'd put it in inverted commas and with the true capacity listed as well.

I feel bad for not posting a review now. I got mine a few weeks back and I couldn’t even watch the neighbour undress. I could have saved you R42.
Sheizzies I bought 2 one for me and one for the neighbours wife to check me. Jokes over I actually bought 2! Damnit... Same logic how can 70 000 Chinese people and 3 South Africans be wrong. Think we got Temu'd...

there is actually a new manual on Temu now, Tyua

I bought this one.

It does magnify things maybe 3X It is ok for Rugby, the moon looks a few times bigger, but not seen the craters.

And also when I let the woman look, she said she can see better with her own eyes, but I think she was just being a wiseass.

Forget the craters of the moon.

Get these for just a few rand more and see the rings of saturn:

Last night there were 26 left and now there's only 9; so considering getting a few.

You know all the low stock stuff is nonsense right? Even when the listing does end the same item will pop up 300 more times.

The other thing that's impossible to take seriously is the RRP prices (-84% and so on). Just make a cosmetic filter to hide them.
