From the same courier? So got another being charged a 200-300% tax/customs rate again. Something isn't making sense here.
Correct I called buffalo and they said it's Sars tax rates, and that was it. When I asked why it's such a high percentage, they didn't know. From the same courier?
Where are you on the new round? I promised myself not to get involved with it again - but failed. I can't recall the point when it slowed down the first time. Did it go quickly somewhere near the 90% and slow down to needing over 3 weeks (regular tasks not involving other or new users) to move each 1%, or was it into the 99.xx% when really started to crawl? I know first time when I completed 97% or 99.97% it jumped to 99% (or 99.99%).Also the new round I don't collect the fish and just stacking fish food as the collection rate are much higher compared to end game!
I'm already at 5k fish food by just doing regular tasks
Yeah had that in Sep, ordered and it arrived in less than a week.Placed order on the 16th..... Arrived yesterday
What is billed amount and what is the customs duties amount? So got another being charged a 200-300% tax/customs rate again. Something isn't making sense here.
I have a theory. Something similar happened to me when I received a parcel via SAPO. Each parcel had a customs sticker on it from the sender, but the customs sticker pertained to the WHOLE order, not each parcel.Correct I called buffalo and they said it's Sars tax rates, and that was it. When I asked why it's such a high percentage, they didn't know.

Order value of the one package, R240, tax value 494.52What is billed amount and what is the customs duties amount?
Same thing happened to meOrder value of the one package, R240, tax value 494.52
Unfortunately I don't have R5000 lying around for this. Are you able to claim back the tax if you return it?I have a theory. Something similar happened to me when I received a parcel via SAPO. SARS billed me 3x for the WHOLE order, because there were 3 stickers, and unfortunately the only thing I could do was either pay up, or send everything back to customs, which would take weeks and I never trusted anything would come of it.
It sounds to me like there are customs declarations on each shipment pertaining to the entire order, but they are charging you the amount multiple times because when it gets here they are treating each 'sticker' or 'customs form' as a separate one.
Temu told me to get myself educated on tax rates, and just dismissed my query. Buffalo are giving me the run around, answering questions I didn't ask and saying I must pay the tax, but when I ask what figures they used to determine this tax amount, they don't respond. So I am not paying anything more until I get a response.Could probably log a return. If enough people do that buffalo may care more than just palming it off.
Or contact Temu directly and ask them to investigate.
I am still stacking food and not feeding as my current completion percentage is around 94.2%Where are you on the new round? I promised myself not to get involved with it again - but failed. Are you still collecting or have you fed out?
Can't trust temu reviews as some kitchen related stuff is really crap but what can one expect for R20 trinklets. Many things broke within a week of usage.![]()
Don't trust that lol , when i tried to leave a one star rating on an item they gave me a refund instead of me leaving that reviewSort by rating.
