You where likening the ANC to Hamas because they targeted civilians. My rebuttal would be that both the Israeli Defence Force and SADF targeted civilians too. Perhaps if those two armed forces had retained their humanity the oppressed wouldn't feel the need to resort to terrorism.

Collateral damage is a convenient excuse when armed forces don't care about civilian casualties.

Personal insults and no constructive addition to the discussion, am not surprised you have Che as your avatar. If the best you can do is to get personal then I will withdraw from engaging with you.
I would call it terrorism. The problem is that people have a tendency to simply label terrorism as evil rather than the desperate act of people that feel they have no other choice. It's far easier to label people as evil than to understand them isn't it. Never mind that Jewish paramilitary groups engaged in terrorism before the formation of Israel but that is glossed over because Jews are predominantly white and western and everyone likes to associate terrorism with Arabs and Islam.

Not caring about civilian casualties is a long way from targetting civilians. Accepting that there will be collateral damage is also not the same as not caring about civilian casualties.
Not a single SADF member has been charged with war crimes.

They were called terrorists and dealt with as such by the British forces in the Palestine.
Maybe today the majority are, but that has not always been the case.

And given service ribbons by the Israeli defence force for "service for the establishment of the Israeli state". Seems that Israel doesn't;t have a problem with terrorism if it furthers their own ends.
No, I just feel that the Israeli state is hypocritical in it's condemnation of terrorism when the actions of it's own defence force have come under criticism for the death of civilians in Gaza.
Also am not arrogant enough to assume I know what I would do if I was part of a people that had been oppressed for so long.
Tell me this, do you believe terrorism is ever justified, do you believe the black people of this country should have meekly accepted the way the apartheid government treated them?

Wouter Basson and the elimination of SWAPO prisoners? Agree in this case they weren't civilians but the murder of POW's is certainly worthy of being called a war crime.
