I just went to deposit my lastest Google Adsense cheque and was told that from 20 July they will no longer be accepting ZAR as a form of payment.

Phasing out of cross-border cheques and drafts - holding statement
22 April 2013
Nedbank welcomes the announcement by the Payment Association of South Africa (PASA) that no cross-border cheques or rand (ZAR) drafts will be accepted as a means of payment within the common monetary area (Lesotho, Swaziland, South Africa and Namibia) and no rand (ZAR) drafts will be accepted as a means of payment within the South African Development Community (SADC) region from 22 July 2013.
With effect from 20 July 2013 Nedbank will no longer accept the above as a means of payment. As a green bank Nedbank will continue to educate its clients on cost-effective, secure and convenient payment alternatives such as digital (mobile and internet) and card payments.
