ZATorrent Competition.

Crowley you do understand that torrents aren't illegal? i mean the argument started from that and i'm not sure you actually get it... have you seen what torrents are on ZATorrent. There are plenty 'legal' torrent sites out there, a few of them are even sponsored by the media companies which would seem kinda stupid if you think torrents are illegal. I use 'legal' because it can be argued that all torrent sites are legal but lets not even start that debate.

Oh and since you have this whole SA crime thing down, can you please find the part in our south african law that states that what you think piracy is, is illegal. Mr Buys couldn't find anything...

yep is it download I uploaded some stuff so check it out this is best local torrent site I have seen but it can become better
 
Hey all ,

Yes the site is down for now i ran into some problems with the hosting company , they said it was against their terms of service! , but there was nothing listed about hosting a tracker site since we did not host the files on their serves i did not think it would cause a problem.

The site should be back next week , also so far Igeek is leading in the Refferal competition with 1 Refferal so far no one else has reffered anyone?

Advertising a site that may track illegal torrents may be a bad idea but I think a local torrent site which tracks free torrents would be a great idea. Maybe I should start one, could have torrents of game trailers, patches, mods, free games, open source..
 
I had to give up my torrent site because of hosts...It was only online for a day. It made a big splash then vanished.

You could run it off your home pc though, just use apache. For something as small as a torrent people wont notice any difference in speed.

Doing it this way will allow you to have the .torrent files and the original files on one "server"
