Zille sees error in her ways.

I was about to post this, becuase nowhere do I see Zille saying she made an error.

And my searches have not shown any results where she admits this. Anyone has a link to this?

I also wondered that. I don't thinks she's publically said anything but behind closed doors it seems as though she may have conceded defeat so to speak? I'm not sure.

Another shocking piece of journalism from news24. Anything new?

Please post a quote showing what Zille said regarding this. I can't find anything admitting fault.

We will know soon enough during the course of the day, I cant imagine the DA will keep quite if she DID NOT say it.

"that she had conceded there was a problem with the lack of representivity of women in her executive."

very good play on words ;) i'm torn, i dont' feel it says there was an error, but at the same time it could mean that there was

LOL... the only ones who are going to be embarrassed over this are the ANC for misunderstanding what she was saying. I seriously doubt she "apologised" for it. More likely "I am sorry you fail to understand my position"

LOL. +1 :D

The fact that an all male cabinet causes this kind of controversy just shows how ****ed up things are

Well look perhaps i'm just tainted by feminism but it kind of pisses me off that she didn't elect a single female. I don't buy this crap of not having anyone female capable of doing the job.

Zille has always voiced her opinions on 'girl power' and yet she isn't really practicing what she preaches.

You must be. Gender like race has no bearing on how somebody does their job. Merit over representation. We were supposed to leave discrimination behind :o

Really? So we are supposedly all equal? Reality is we aren't, no matter how we like to think we are past all of it.

I think we should all come to the realisation that there are no women capable of running a provincial portfolio in the DA. Well besides Zille herself. :)

Because, this is picked on capabilities remember?

I just wonder what Zille would have said had the ANC elected an all male cabinet.

Capable women kick ass :D

No where did I say that. In fact I said the exact opposite. You're the ones judging by gender and not capabilities. Identity politics FTL
