Just a word of advice: Don't take it on planes - if you don't fall asleep (likely), you trip like hell and the cabin crew spend half the journey trying to keep you calm.
I take them on planes all the time, especially when flying over time-zones to force myself into the new time-zone quicker. I take one about 30 minutes before planning to go to sleep. Then I usually start "waking up" about 4 hours later. Then I pop another one and I can sleep for another 3 hours or so. But sleeping on a plane in economy class isn't really sleeping for me, it's more like dozing off repeatedly such that I lose track of time. And I have no hangover afterwards, the drowziness just diminishes gradually. I have actually taken two at a time a couple of times, but it didn't feel much different than taking only 1.
