I didn't say anything was "likely" or not.

I used Prozac for a while, but obviously not for sleeping problems :D .

Of course, it is not to be used as a sleeping pill. The real effect came a while later - it totally numbed my emotions in the weirdest way. I would be in a situation where the normal human reaction would be e.g. to get angry or happy, but I could feel no such emotions. Cognitively, you know how you ought to react, but it feels like you cannot summon the 'correct' emotion - there is just nothing.

There was a thread sometime last year about anti-depressants and it was amazing how commonly this effect was reported by ad users. I myself experienced exactly this too.

Just popped another one, only four left :( Today's one toook 5 minutes ti kick in in :D

No hangover ftw!

They say TV is to blame for poor sleeping patterns. Maybe the PC screen has the same effect?

Lots of factors can play a part - even your thoughts just before bedtime can keep you up. For me it was just a bunch of thoughts keeping me up, leading to you becoming restless.

/serious post coming up...
There are some amnesic effects that started happening the past few days. I got up, fried some eggs, went back to sleep - at 2am :D Didn't recall doing any of that!

So your house is full of people wandering around in the middle of the night / early morning, preparing and consuming foodstuffs.

Hmmm......

Just keep an eye on the addictive aspect. You're of no use to anyone here if your asleep all the time.:D

Reminds me about this story I read about Provigil somewhere. Opposite effect, same danger of dependence.

No man the drunk or high feeling.

I don't drink (apart from a few Hunters) so I haven't experience being totally plastered. These meds do make you seem you more light-headed though and sometimes it feels good, but sometimes it sucks balls (walking into a door as you try opening it.

Personally I hate it. When you say you can't fall off to sleep how bad is it. Because to be taking pills one would think it has to be real bad.
