The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a massive increase in the use of video conferencing software.

Lockdown regulations and travel restrictions mean most businesses are unable to conduct their usual meetings and interactions – both internally and with clients.

I use Jitsi over Zoom, and to be honest, I think paying for premium Zoom is crazy.
Skype for Business was OK, but Teams is better.
I'm still using Skype.

At least Zoom is now end to end encrypted. Jitsi currently isn't

correction, Zoom claims be be e2ee (we can't verify until another breach / expose happens) while Jitsi is near completion for full muc encryption, which we can verify and follow eventually. There is no serious way to have trust in claims with proprietary services.

Zoom 5 introduced e2ee on 27 Apr. From 30 May clients not on version 5 will not work.

Well since Youtube only launched in 2005 are you saying their is not picture? There is a setting in Zoom for HD. Anyway YouTube launch with lowest quality of 140p. Zoom starts at 540p.
Not sure of your point? Most Front facing camera's only do 720p anyway

So far, good quality video AFAIK. HD, I think? depends on the webcam's resolution and quality.

Teams. My encounters with Zoom haven't been good.

Not interested in trying any others if my experience with what I use does the job more than adequately.
