Ag shame, poor Zuma. That liquid must have been so heavy. E ish, when it fell on me, the PAIN!!! I couldn't walk for 10 days... What a chop
I have to believe in the law.
But I really struggle when a guy who fires a gun and kills a young kid gets off whereas someone spilling a drink is looking at ..... does it matter?
I can understand that the gunman didn't intend to shoot the kid. And maybe I can understand that the drinker maybe did intend to douse Zumatello. But the consequences of those actions? A dead child versus an almost damp man?
He's not going to get anywhere near the same sentence though, it's been a rediculous waste of money from lawyer fees POV.
You do know that the gunman was acquitted? Not guilty. No penalty. Carry on owning a gun.

He was also fined R10,000 and was no longer allowed to own a firearm.
Errr...
2 years in the chook; R10,000 fine and no longer allowed to own a gun. Where did you get your information from?

Its a suspended sentence, hence NO time in the "chook" for MURDERING a child...
In for 2, suspended for 5. You also not a reader are you?
No, the 2 years are suspended for 5 years. Go and read again.
The High Court in Johannesburg changed his sentencing on appeal to two years in prison, suspended for five years, Beeld newspaper reported.
Hmm, how can a suspended sentence run cocurrently with a sentencing?
What do you mean?
His 2 year sentence is suspended for 5 yeas. It means he will not go to jail except if he commits the same crime in a 5 year period.
Abrahamse pleaded guilty to manslaughter in 2009 and was sentenced to five years, of which 10 months would have been served in prison and the remainder under house arrest.
He didn't have a 2 year sentence though, the way I read is his time inside got lowered to two years.
No you are wrong, they changed his sentence from five years to two years but the two years are now also suspended.
