Zuma charges dropped!!

Hmmmm, puts the Zapiro cartoons in a slightly different light. The judgment went on to say that it was the fault of the state that there are delays, that there was political interference from the state etc.

dont know whether to chill or not. for the time being staying here... but i can emigrate quickly and with minimum hassle so....... i may not be the best to pass judgement.

Hang on guys, The Judge was correct in all his findings, the problem is that the local pop, will believe that this means that his is innocent of the charges that where against him. In a normal society, the state should recharge him in view of these findings.

South Africa has never had a decent government. Before 1994 was an even bigger shambles than currently. Unfortunately the anc seem determined to outdo the past in time.

Shot if you think having services and no crime and great exchange rate shambles. Its the opposite these days.

Bye bye South Africa, I wonder who spoke to the judge. Someone had a lot to lose. I imagine that all the guys that were going to go down had some influence here. This is the final nail in South Africa's coffin.
A sad day yet again in this country.

What happened to respecting the judiciary. The charges were found to be unlawful and hence must be dropped.

As for leaving the country. No matter the decision you should have been making plans to leave anyway

I really am shocked, I really am. WOW!!! Is this for real? The general public will definitely think that Zuma is innocent of everything!!! I guess the judge succumbed to public pressure.

Now does anyone with a legal background care to tell us the way forward? Is it back to the drawing board for the NPA? Or is that all that she wrote?

Can't really comment until I've read the ruling entirely.

No he didn't.

It is sad but I did expect this out come. Please Zuma being charged, pfff better chance of it raining pigs.

People only respect the judiciary when decisions go the way they wanted it.

this country and its government is a fscking joke...can't belive this ! it was all going well before 1994 but they just had to fsck it up to the fscking max....

Well as much as I'm disappointed with the Zuma verdict, **** you for saying South Africa was good before 1994, **** you!!!

How can you respect a judiciary that was clearly influenced? Sorry but that is not right. The guy is a criminal and should be prosecuted

Do doubt the ANC had a hand in scaring the judiciary.

As marine1 said, the final nail on SA's coffin. Even if Zuma doesn't do the country to *****s, many, MANY people will leave. The brain drain itself will collapse the whole country

Maybe we should think of it this way... If Zuma was found guilty, then those outside the courthouse would start to cause chaos and destruction... at least now they are just toi-toi-ing...
But now Zuma is going to be president, oh my god... why?
For those who don't know, Zuma dropped out of school end of Std 4... so, someone with std4 has to lead a country!!
