Zuma has a plan for youth

WOW, Zuma is taking a big gamble. This could backfire if the youth and the poorest of the poor feels their voices are suppressed.

It's more like Zuma is finally showing some backbone. For too long now the youth league has been acting as if it is the master of the ANC and that everybody must bow to then.

Bloody kids trying to tell dad how to run the house. I wish them the best of luck convincing Mbeki, they are part of the reason he was recalled.

Yeah I am not so sure the current cronies will want Mbeki back, he is too stiff for them me thinks,
as for JuJu - a new DOPE party on the cards?
 
Zuma can't even plan a dinner party.

This will never see the light of day.
 
The problem with SA youth is that essentially they don't have parents. Apartheid obliterated the black family unit and the ANC has failed to do anything to fix it. The ANC has probably intentially not fixed it, thinking they could control the youth to their ends. Surprise, surprise.
 
Give Cobra a brake. At least he's not passive anymore - let's first see the outcome before we criticize him.
Malema should be silenced, he's not doing anyone in this country any good.

Many of the youth and poor feels Malema is their voice, what would the consequences be if you silence that voice?
 
They'll follow Malema and support DOPE, cos that's what they are anyway. If this goes down, the sparks will fly and if things get out of hand, there might be serious civil unrest amongst the youth. That would be bad for the economy, real bad.

Come now DA, make a sly entry and begin the fine art of stealing the ANC's voters while they aren't looking :p

Perhaps we will have that civil war that every country goes through... only, it's be the same people fighting amongst themselves... with the whites are the common enemies :eek:

As for Zuma having a plan, please, the only plan that man has is grabbing as much as he can while staying out of jail.

You mean the civil war we had in '76? or in '85? Or perhaps in '89? This sort of fighting at the level of school-pupils, students and young adults just causes another stumble in our economic growth as a large section of that generation have to enter the workforce with few or no skills and a massive chip on their shoulder.

Zuma does need to take steps against Malema, but simply giving him the boot and fuelling a desire for revenge isn't going to solve the country's problems. It may allow JZ to remain in power for longer, but at what cost to the country? Rather send Malema to be SA's representative in Tonga or Iceland.

I said many not ALL.

Silencing Malema is just address the symptom and not the cause. We will have many more Malemas as long as we have such a large about of low skilled youths in our country.
