As a convicted prisoner he has the same rights of any other. Sadly, the government has been shunning all attempts to allow him those rights because of his (former) political stance. In fact, his time in prison has been very uncomfortable for the same reason. Is it racism? I would say so.

ROFL, please show me exactly what the MK achieved in their so-called 'struggle', they are a bunch of terrorists, and pathetic soldiers who are nothing better then Cable thieves and murderers. They even justify their bombing of innocent people against a brutal regime........ pathetic. They should have been hanged.

The same people who were protected by the brutal regime . Its the the regime `s fault they made it a black vs white thing . They are the ones who need to be hung . They brainwashed everyone , came into the townships and abducted fathers , disrupting families , whilst those in suburbs were fast asleep . They were busy sorting out the native problem telling the so-called ordinary people to smack the native if he got cheeky . Therefore institutions protected by the regime had to be systematically attacked with what few they had .

tjomma they raided the townships to keep the MK idiots out, also to keep the ANC and IFP from litterly killing each other.. It seems the ANC even managed to brainwash you..... they are criminals, terrorists, nothing better then the brutal Apartheid police. Both should be locked up.

The parties were virtually banned during some time in this country . Only white people could hold political gatherings . By 1960 some African countries were already on their way to political liberation . But in SA look at the things that were banned . Take a country like Zim for example one of the white prime ministers was told to fuk of because he was already giving rights to blacks . Alll these were happening and the regime was not showing any signs of easing its grip . You think a political alone could have made the world aware of the grave human traversty which was occuring . Askari , impimpi were all over the place because it looked dire as far as freedom was concerned . Some had lost hope and decided to feed their families by selling out . IFP and ANC started fighting at a later stage because one party was thinking about homelands and the other was thinking about THE NATION . I was told the Rhodesian regime fell apart because John Voster refused to support it anymore (Boer hate for the british, kinda narrow-minded). To be honest, Mugabe only 'achieved' this liberation after Rhodesia lost support.

They had good reason to believe so, I mean the Swapo and MK people weren't exactly the bunch of happy clappers they make themselves to be now. Also take a look at the rest of Africa, the white man left and civil unrest took place, not to mention communist funded organisations and Africa being made a playground for the cold war. All in all the SANDF did what they did because they believe it was in the best interest of country to not fall to a communist organisation.

The started fighting once the ANC came to power (or was about to), basically this happened because there were no 'impiriririrrir' left to regulate them, it makes you wonder what the SANDF's real agenda actually was (maybe to keep black these type of organisations from killing each other)

in any case the point is, the ANC can only convict these people because they are now in power, the fact remains that half of them should be in jail too, alongside their impiri buddies :)

Political liberation? You call what has happened in Africa over the past 40 years liberation? Sierre Leone, Rwanda, DRC, Liberia, oh the list is almost endless.

These nations aren't free, they're gripped in fear and terror by those chosen to protect them.
