He could have tried to be original. His puppet master had the same tune a few months ago.

If accidental spillage = assault, what would equate to attempted assasination?
 
I also think it is a BS story.

I don't think it is even for electioneering. Zuma is at the funeral of his bodyguard and being the smoothtalker that he is, he probably wanted to just glorify the bodyguard more than what he was so he pulled a story out his head claiming how his bodyguard helped stop an assassination attempt. He probably did not think at the time that people would have jumped on the bandwagon to find out more details how what when etc.

so instead of looking the fool he is they just close the case and no more questions. Reporters though will not go away and so the next thing that they will claim to keep the reporters at bay is that it is a syndicate and they are still under investigation and so the presidency cannot comment on it since it is is such a delicate matter.

Absolute morons!!
 
There was a plot by those trying to overthrow him to hire an HIV positive woman as part of his staff.

I have to agree on that one. Does Z even think before he speaks? Didn't he think there might be questions after his "hero" story..? Or does he think we all are dumbasses to believe everything he says?

Interesting that at every funeral I attend, speakers often exaggerate positive “hero” stories about the deceased.
