I suspect this may be a rhetorical question on your part, but I see these actions (by all cadres) as baffling. Excuses are feeble and general rhetoric is condescending and lame. It makes me angry and then I think that maybe that is the intention; to imply that everyone is ‘dumbasses’. I would go with this except it is too subtle for the government. I think they just don’t ‘think before they speak’. Just because they and their electorate are dipshiits and require tedious explanations for everything, doesn’t mean everyone is. But hey, the dipshiits are numerically superior and require infantile tuition. They are the electorate.
