Switching the TV on this evening result in two feelings:

1) OMG Zuma actually doesn't sound like the raging idiot people claim him to be... he makes a lot of sense in many different aspect.

2) Zuma is a Bully, he's bullying the media and thus not allowing for some good Q&A.

Your Opinion on the Polokwane Confrence?

Heard he said he wishes to distribute 30% of wealth in the short-term. So how would he do that? When he does not will the ANCYL just take it by force? The youth of this country does not intend to work for anything, they want money and status handed to them on a silver platter and trust me, they are racist and angry.

Now Zuma ended his speech with his Machine Gun song, it incites hatred and violence! People I am worried, my 6th sense is telling me to run for dear life.

Do you know what I think ... like Gunny said, he's a puppet. I think Tokyo Sexwale is pulling the strings in the background. Zuma is only the testosterone filled face of the government while Sexwale is the actual brains and policy maker. ;)

That's why Sexwale pulled out so quickly and gave his support to Zuma. Because he knew that Zuma is his bitch and would do as he's told.

Zuma is a man without vision or policy.

His primary objectives in life are (in no particular order):
1) Become president, because they get all the best bribes, and get invited to the coolest conferences, 2) Avoid going to jail long enough to enjoy 1 above.
3) Shower early, shower often.

I hope you are right Picard, otherwise i think were are in for a tough time. I can't see JZ being kind to the media after the way they treated him. I tend to agree with Isuacner. Hope we are wrong mate!

do people honestly believe that him singing "mshini wam" he is making a call for people to pick up arms and fight?

apparently, IT'S THE MACHINE GUN SONG, not the clapp clapp song, or the macarena... but perhaps he is calling on the Zulu's to pick up arms and fight the Khosas. I don't think he is worried about the whites cause judging by this forum they leaving by the bus load...

He did not say wealth dude, he said land by the year 2014. Which is basically what the current administration is working towards.

Judging from the speech and the press conference, it is going to be much of the same. Just a different head doing the talking. The composition of the NEC is the key point in all these policy issues.

Yeah, I was also confused for a second because I know he said Land and not Wealth. Basically he wants to speed up the land distribution process.... which is a good thing.

Agreed. Zuma has been bought. Nothing will change. Rest Assured.
