#ZumaMustFall marches planned for 4 different dates

troll b!tch, hope she gets wrecked

The comments section on that post should be shown to everyone that thinks this #ZumaMustFall story has a hope in hell. Look at the demographic and their opinions and it's plain to see that we are still a long way from the straw that breaks the camels back and causes people to think with their heads and not their emotions.

People going around telling them they stupid just makes the problems worst...

Dont know about that .... for years .. and infact still today .... a bunch of people go around telling another bunch they are racist.

It felled a regime eventually ....

Fair enough, however:
1) It does not make it any more rational of a standpoint.
2) Decisions that impact the country's welfare should be dealt with a little more rationally than what phone to choose.

You can only make informed, rational decisions if you understand how all the pieces fit together, Government, Elections, Economy...

I've worked with hardcore ANC supporters but I'm happy to see that many of them this week have not only just went full on Anti-Jacob Zuma but also Anti-ANC, some even preaching the DA... The ANC will with out a doubt still have control of the country after 2019 but they will loose Gauteng and Nelson Mandela Bay...

I believe hope will be Education and Affordable access to the Free Internet...

Yeah right and Santa Claus is real

I've had the same thing said to me. I was told by my colleague, who votes DA for the munic elections and ANC for national, that the DA or any "white party" cannot come to power ever again or Apartheid will return.

I have said it before: for many the concept of Apartheid extends well beyond segregation and race-based laws. It entails a Western paradigm and thought patterns as opposed to African approaches. When people of such like refer to Apartheid they do not have the same conceptualizations and delimitations of what Apartheid is and is not.

Very short sighted viewpoint - the Rand getting bang up (literally), isn't about trust fund values. When fuel prices and everything else goes up (including interest rates), and she wants to know why, she should go ask Zuma.

Brainwashing and propaganda ..... people believe it, and some die for it.
The ANC have done a good job brainwashing the masses .... some more than others ..... where race is concerned. After all ... it was the same Zuma who said that spending money to buy a dog and taking it to the vet and for walks, belonged to "white" culture.

In my opinion these are the trolls that are benefiting from the current Government in the form of the SAA, PRASA, ESKOM, SAPO... tenders. They are here to fuel the 'White' anger so non-blacks attack them on public platforms.... One of the gifts we received this year was 24, iol... shutting down their comments section.

The weakening Rand will affect the poor blacks in the township far worse than any middle class white person. Whites seem to be leading the Zumamustfall campaign for the sake of sanity and keeping the Rand form falling further while the black masses keep quiet happily oblivious to the struggles that's going to hit them hardest. In a way this campaign benefits the poor blacks way more than the middle class whites but skin colour is going to be main factor to them. I suppose those who put Zuma in power deserve every bit of poverty and struggles they are in.

The bottom level will feel the impact the most with increased taxi fares (as a result of fuel price increases) and the import of basic foodstuff (which is necessitated by the drought we are currently facing).

Sad reality, people in the rural areas do not understand this, and politicians will find a way to spin this i.e. white capitalist pigs etc when it comes time to garner votes, and people on the ground will be none the wiser.

The middle class can always cut back to survive (which will further slow the economy) but the poor blacks can't cut back from nothing in the first place. Then the slowing of the economy will lead to further unemployment etc.

The mining sector is a great example of killing the goose that lays the golden egg. How many of those striking miners are now unemployed and there no signs of recovery anytime soon

The irony of the politics in SA is that the very people who vote ANC in numbers are the ones who pay the price for their (ANCs) greed ..... but, how do you change the mindset of a bunch of people?

If African politics is anything to go by, there is no changing minds. Things will have to get a whole lot worse and probably stay worse for a long time. I'm sure the people in Zim are very aware of their situation but where's the mass protests? They live in fear instilled in them since the white man left power.

and the poor whites, coloureds and indians? can only our people be poor?

They fall under the same umbrella? I'm sure they are making noise or not too but just talking main majority and main minority. I'm not sure what nerve I hit?

I'm guessing the part in bold, sigh.

@D3x, yes, everyone can be poor, we're discussing majority impact. Even little things like this highlight the fact the focus on race is still too great for everyone to work cohesively together, for a supposed common good, without being distracted by the skin colour of "good" people in charge. Works both ways. We were in relatively good shape before Zuma started the purge of free-thinkers and brought in cronies into key positions.

It is true though that when Nene was appointed there followed some ridicule including that clown cartoon.

But the markets probably had faith in his abilities unlike Van Rooyen who is clearly there to do as he's told as in hand the keys to the vault on cue
