I've signed up with Supersonic and they provided a Zyxel VMG3625 router. I can't however get into the admin settings. They say to log onto IP address then username: admin and password as per back of router.
They happened to deliver a second router by mistake and so I'm trying it before returning but can't get into admin either. Anybody else experience this?

Yeah Supersonic supplies a very nice router however they completely lock the UI so that people don't change settings and "break" the internet

Do you use Openserve? If so write down or keep the pppoe details because you are going to need them again. IF you are using Vumatel make sure you know how to set the DHCP to auto.

Now follow my guide here on how to delete the certificates disabling the UI. You would need to reset the router to default settings by pressing the reset button and unplug the WAN to start.

Thanks Cavedog, worked!
Any idea why Supersonic would do that though?

I think they don't want the end user to change setting that will break the internet for them.

They lock the UI but the certificate also allows Supersonic to remotely change settings in the router so when you need to change settings or port forward you need to call the call centre which is a total waste of time imo so just delete them and use the router as it's supposed to be used.
