Vodacom vs MTN vs Cell C vs 8ta: data prices compared
MTN reduced the price of its 2GB data contract promotion to R99 per month and introduced a new 1GB promotion for R69 per month on 1 March 2013.
MTN also launched dongle-inclusive 1GB and 2GB data promotions for R79 per month and R119 per month respectively.
Although both deals are billed as “promotional”, MTN highlighted that its previous 2GB contract promotion was in the market for around 17 months before being replaced by this new deal.
This raises the question of how MTN’s new mobile data prices compare with similar products from Vodacom, Cell C and 8ta.
