Sybaritic sucks- don't buy from them. They cannot be trusted.

Just thought I'd share my experience with you lot. I paid for a Sidewinder X3 mouse on 5th July and was told I would get it 3 weeks later. 3 weeks later I was told it was move another 2 weeks. Then I was told it will move up another week. I collected it today 10th August. I took it home and saw that it was a used mouse.How do I know- I looked at the bottom of the mouse and saw the scratches on the bottom and the side buttons had some black dirt on it. You know what I mean. The manager Graeme said they would never sell me a second hand mouse. Who knew he would lie and Sybaritic provide should bad service and lie about it as well.

So...? Did you get a new mouse or what..?
 
Never had a problem with THEM per se...

But the way they handle after sales service leaves much to be desired and as such i don't buy from there anymore.

+1. That said I've also never had to take anything back to them.
 
I was once given a second hand DiNovo keyboard by a supplier; luckily we noticed that it was used before shipping. Unfortunately these things do slip in to the system sometimes....
 
I did have a situation with them the first time when I sent my brother to pick up my stuff for me and being the non-IT person that he was, didn't realise he'd picked up the wrong PSU.

I reported it but was told that I could keep the wrong one at no extra cost (because it was more expensive than the one I ordered) but I insisted on getting the one I ordered originally which meant I had to wait until they reopened their stores (this was in the last few days before they closed their store).

Other than that, I don't have serious issues either.
 
I ordered a hard drive enclosure from them about 2 months ago.
Before I ordered, I checked for stock availability and they told me they do have.
After I had paid (mere minutes later), they apparently didn't have stock anymore.
Then they kept on changing the delivery date on me for 3 weeks...
Won't do business with them again.

Ja, this is how they do business, they suck - they've done this to me more than once.
 
In all of my experiemce, Sybaritic is the best online store I have ever dealt with.
 
Also never had issues with them - they do not keep stock on-hand of most items, and usually get them from the supplier once the order is placed. I've always found them to be fairly quick with the items, always with regular status updates, but it does depend on the supplier at the end of the day.

+1, did the same to me as well once. Other then that no problems.

Don't use them anymore.They do many times have some second hand stock to move.Saw them listed many on bidorbuy.
