Android eyes Symbian's number one mobile OS spot

I suppose 2014 is about right, but I see Symbian being de-throned in the not too distant future.

How so? Nokia will still be using it in most of their phones. As far as I know, Meego will only be replacing Symbian on their N-Series phones.
