iOS vs Android in 2021

Why do people still buy the iPhone 6/6s and 7?

Some of them are the first people to say how wonderful Apple is and claim that android is crap

The iphone 7 was released in 2016!

That was 4 years and 3 months ago.

Wtf?
Not much point buying a 6, but the 6s is still performant today. So if a phone is needed and that is what you can afford, then rather that than having to use Android.

Look at it this way... who in their right mind would buy a 4-5 year old android device? Yet iPhone 7 sells.
That’s probably related to most Android device manufacturers quickly abandoning each model.

Face it 28% from one provider compared to 70% from pretty much the rest, its a huge feat.

I think Apple will keep growing faster and faster at this rate.

Any small company can bring in an Android device, its cheap and easy, but for IOS to have such a large market share is stellar.

iOS got some goods arguments about privacy honnestly (yes I know about the last CSAM algorithm). They let us choose which photos can be readed by apps, the ATT, etc.. but they can go mooooore forward about it I'm fully agreed with that.

If you want cinema hd stocks ROMs, I don't know if an stock Android is good for privacy, because we know how Google works : they propose some arguments for our privacy but we can only trust them. Apple too but they're the first to apply the ATT and the datas apps needed about us.

No winner for me, but with custom ROMs like Graphene and Calyx : Android winner but go on Google Pixels.

I had an Android phone since 2011 and switched to an iPhone in 2021. I’m never going back to Android. I like iOS. It’s simple and works for me.
