Ok I have just received my first iPhone a week ago.
I am still learning the tips and tricks of the iPhone. I have a few apps, but not nearly as many as some of you.
I am going to list the top 10 Apps from my Apps. I am still looking for more good apps, so if evryone could list their top apps, in that way we could share the top apps with each other.

My top 10 are:

1. WhatsApp
2. Talking Tom (great for kids)
3. Cut the Rope (game)
4. ColorsPro
5. MMaze (game)
6. 360 Panaroma
7. Angry Birds (game)
8. iHandy Level
9. LED Light
10. Trapster

Wow!! There are so many apps I could add here...
For now, you should also try:

Facebook (obviously)
Dropbox
Reeder
Air Video
Convertbot
Labyrinth 2
IMDB
Prowl (if you use Growl on a Mac)

Enjoy the new phone man :)

I can add:

1. WhatsApp
2. IM+ (for messaging accross Skype, MSN, Gtalk, Facebook, etc.)
3. Evernote
4. Instagram (for sharing pics on Facebook etc.)
5. Tapatalk (for accessing forums, like this one :))
6. XBMC (remote control for accessing my Media Center at home)
7. ARDefender (awesome augmented reality game to show off the phones features)
8. Camera+ (nicer than the built in camera app)

Shazam
Skype
Nimbuzz
Evernote
and the list goes on.........

Can you just clarify something... I have installed Skype, but can free calls (via 3G) be made from Skype without using my Top-Up airtime?

If yes, then obviously Skype calls can only be made from Skype to Skype, so which other phones other than the iPhone can install Skype and send and receive calls?

Yes, Skype will use your data bundle (if you have one)...

Check out Skype's site - they list which phones they make a mobile app for...

Ok guys thanks for sharing all these great Apps.
So far from all the Apps you guys suggested, I read the descriptions and reviews and found the following very useful:

ConvertBot
Labyrinth 2 (Wish it was a bit cheaper though)
ARDefender

Is there an app for saying caller name out loud, like on Nokia?

I saw one available for JB'n phones, but anything available without JB that you guys came across.

Thanks

Don't think it's possible on a non-jailbroken iPhone :( Would've been pretty cool though ;)
