Samsung Galaxy tablet, Galaxy S2 pricing and availability announced

I think I'll hang onto my current Galaxy tab for a while longer. Like the upgrade from iPad to iPad2, there doesn't seem to be enough of an incentive to upgrade yet :l
 
However, they have warned that there might be delays that push back the launch of the device until mid-July 2011.

R6,699 for the S2 versus R5,310 for the upcoming HTC Sensation? That S2 better be significantly better to be so much more expensive.
 
YES. Galaxy Tab 10.1 for extreme winning! This is awesome news, now I don't have to buy a freeken ipad2!
 
The 16GB Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is set to come in at R5,499, a slightly higher price than the 32GB Wi-Fi only iPad 2. Similarly, the 32GB Galaxy Tab 10.1 will cost R100 more than the 64GB Wi-Fi only iPad 2 at R6,499.

Price will have to drop before I become interested :( Lets hope contract prices are competitive.

Not very good news...was hoping S2 will get here much sooner. Might have to consider another alternative
 
New Android Tablets

Have you guys actually used the android table, I have an Ipad and Galaxy Tab, never use the Ipad.
 
Overpriced. S2 can be had for significantly lower price by importing from the UK. Don't know about the tablets but I wouldn't pay those prices for them.
