Web Africa slow during the day

Something I have noticed since I have had Business Uncapped is that downloads or anything slows down during the day. This would be fine if it was once in a while but this is a daily occurrence:confused:

Anyone else?
 
I have started a thread on downloading today with Download plus and the speeds have become terrible. I do not download much during the day, but on the few occasions have experienced a range of speeds - sometimes good, others slow. I do think WA needs to address this
 
Since the outage last week, the speeds have been really up-to on non-web stuff. Been sukkeling to get two Linux distros downloaded...

Not sure if I agree totally as during normal DL+ hours things are much better; I guess though everyone is probably in action due to the user friendly times.

I am beginning to think maybe some restrictions have been put into place by WA. Could be wrong

Without a doubt daytime=slow and at night = fast. This is ridiculous, slow during the day and a 10 day rolling threshold. At this rate I might as well get a R999 Axxess account, 384K speeds during day and full speed at night

Well sadly due to WA issues I can not get access to the net :( Hopefully when I can, they will be better.

Unless you have given us feedback in another post, when will you be telling us why there were performance issues? Thanks

Sorry to keep you waiting Fulton17. We are still waiting for updates on what happened yesterday. Will get back to you as soon as we know :)
 
Hey guys

The DDOS attack we were experiencing earlier today has been resolved, so there shouldn't be any issues at the moment.

With regards to yesterday, we experienced higher than normal traffic for a public holiday, largely because of our DP+ promotion. Performance shouldn't have been impacted. If you're still having issues then please contact support :)
 
Must say browsing has been poorer than normal this weekend. Very annoying.

Google maps was a joke - about 10kbps on a 4 meg line
 
Disgusting Web Africa, I am not paying for a business account that I can't even use Google with! Browsing is beyond slow!
 
Its an excellent downloading account off peak hours, no doubts but browsing is becoming disgusting :-(

Actually since its slow in the day, full speed after hours, no static ip address. I can actually get a R999 Axxess account and basically have the same product for cheaper!
