Web Africa - 1 June. Going uncapped?

No matter what they do I just hope it does not affect the quality of the service. Currently on MWeb uncapped account and seriously considering moving over to Webafrica due to the better latency and quality of gaming I get on overseas servers. Now will have to wait until 1st june to see what big things are arising

So hopefully reduction in price on the accounts (or increase in gigs usage) and same good quality.

Hi Guys!

Er.. thank for the compliments? :P

Anyhow, I can assure you that we will NEVER compromise on the quality of our products, and you can look forward to something new and exciting come 1 June. :)
What you guys think of our little mascot, Webfri the robot?

If anyone's playing the guessing game - good luck!

I will be the first to join IF you keep the service the same. I will drop Mweb like a rotten filthy dirty rag. I cannot wait. Can we sign up already?

I don't think webafrica are gonna go the uncapped route, as has been stated, they will never compromise quality and uncapped would do exactly that. My guess would be that their redafrica accounts will probably become mainstream for everyone. so they will probably increase their cap sizes and give good prices. just my thoughts.

Maybe not mainstream Redafrica accounts, but possibly something along the lines of D+ being free across all packages in the range, or extended D+ hours and/or GBs.

I hope its D+ over the weekends/longer hours. That would be teh awesome.

OP's theory regarding consumer uncapped is more likely though imo. I hope its not that though...some of the download sites are already getting heavy shaping as is. Still epic value on the RedAfrica side though.

I doubt it'd be uncapped. The business uncapped at almost 3grand has a rolling threshold for heaven's sake. I would be scared to imagine a consumer uncapped package.

They could release an uncapped product in a similar vein as the Business uncapped. The Business uncapped has a 50% of theoretic max limit, so maybe 20% of max theoretical for 40% of the business uncapped price?

We don't need uncapped now. Webafrica will go the uncapped route when LLU is introduced. The Redafrica package is by far the most bang for buck package in the country. just a question, if i move my line to webafrica, do i get a reduction in the price of my 4meg line?

I skat it's a better and early Download plus starting at 9pm - 6am :)
Or just more Bandwidth for the same price 30GB=50Gb same price LOL

My guess is it'll be lessor versions of the redafrica specials.

Probably:
10 gigs + 15 gigs D+
15 gigs + 20 gigs D+
20 gigs + 30 gigs D+
30 gigs + 50 gigs D+

etc...

Yes, by R2-00 :D

Cheap topups for those of us with bigger accounts, then Mweb loses all hope of me and the family switching over...
